Reviews

Our critics on the season's series, films and manga volumes.

9.2 TV anime, 24 episodes

Kumoya's second season trades the first season's mystery for momentum, and its finale is one of the most ambitious pieces of TV animation in years.

8.7 TV anime, 12 episodes

A quiet, funny series about running a shop after the world ends.

8.4 Film, 118 minutes

Gorgeous water animation carries a story that loses its way in the last act.

7.6 Manga

Strong art and a slow start that rewards readers who stick around.
