Crunchyroll Manga App Expands to U.K., Ireland, South Asia, ANZ

Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that its Crunchyroll Manga app is now available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, and New Zealand.

Crunchyroll also announced that it will be "easily accessible" in a new dedicated anime hub for the PlayStation 5 console that will launch next spring. The anime space on the console will also include anime games and anime-inspired games.

The Crunchyroll Manga app launched on iOS and Android devices in the United States and Canada in October 2025. The ad-free app is separate from the main Crunchyroll streaming service.

Crunchyroll is discontinuing its main app on the Nintendo Switch on October 30. Crunchyroll is still available on Xbox and PlayStation, as well as on mobile devices, media players, Smart TVs and TVs, service providers, and via web browsers.

Crunchyroll increased the prices for all of its subscription tiers in the U.S. in February, and Crunchyroll halted free ad-supported streaming on its service last December.
