Yumene Connect Gets Anime

Ko Sawada’s manga, Yumene Connect, is getting an anime adaptation. A teaser visual and trailer were also released along with the main staff and cast. Studio Massket is animating the series.

Yu Sasahara and Yusuke Kobayashi star in the series as Nano and Yuhi Takamiya, respectively. Sota Yokote is directing with Gigaemon Ichikawa on the script and series composition. Yoshihiro Watanabe is the character designer and Hayato Matsumura is the music composer.

The manga began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in September 2024. It currently has nine volumes in circulation and the 10th volume is slated to release on October 16, 2026.

The story follows Yuhi Takamiya, a first-year high school student who misses his entire first week of school because of a sudden illness and worries he won’t make any friends. After hearing his plight, an alien named Nano arrives to help him. Nano eventually moves in with Yuhi, along with another alien lifeform named Nyoru Puppu Panpippi.
